Guys any of you have an idea of whats happening on my car??
i turn the key to the on position, and i hear the pump working, the pressure reachs the 40psi and the pump doesnt stop,i checked for a leak, and i cannot find any leak outside of the injectors, can an injector be flowing fuel like wot???
I can hear the fuel injection and seems to be pulling too much fuel,i dont know if these problem comes since i installed the superram
Can an additive fix that??or bad injector???
With the key on, the ECM should run for a couple of seconds and then turn off till the ECM gets feedback from distributor.
I would look for a problem in fuel pump relay and oil pressure switch, first.

where the fuel pump relay is located?? on the fuse panel??
and where is the oil pressure siwtch????
sorry for too many questions!
1. fuel pump relay is located to the right of the brake booster on the fire wall.
2. the oil pressure switch is under the distributor at the back of the block (L98)
What year?
On the early models before the weather pak connectors the insulation comes off the wires in the relay plug and short out.Had the same pump run problem with mine.
Direct connection to the pump.
As stated above the only two places where a direct feed can get to the pump.
As a note , all the oil pressure switches I have seen go bad ; go open circut , not closed.
mmm sounds good to me cause i don't want to take off the superram to check the injectors, mine is a 91,i will check today the relay and the oil switch and then i will come back to see if was the problem!!
Please explain further...I can't think of anything beyond an ecm in that location that COULD possibly cause this.
The problem was, that on my 91 there are around 5 relays under the globebox, the 3rd relay from left to right was bad,i found the 5 pins relay with only 4 pins ,and seems to someone plug a wire from one pin to the fuse that says "INJ 2" on the fuse panel,i don't know the reazon,i think the relay was open i took off that wire that someone plugs the for a reazon, and i placed the new relay there, and the fuel pump does the normal job, around 1 second running when i place the key in the ON Position.
