Similar to my issue. The car is suppose to have an overheating problem but the gauge always says low. I have a new wire connector for the aux. fan switch waiting for me to install. I also have to get the wires for the fans hooked back up as the previous owner grounded them.

I will be putting in a new switch for the gauge hoping to solve the problem. I am going to try and get some rtv around the wire where I can see the insulation has worn off and then get wire loom on it too.
