Guys,
Thefan comes on like it should after I replaced the fan motor, the fan relay and the relay connector but at the dash It always says low coolent temp.
Similar to my issue. The car is suppose to have an overheating problem but the gauge always says low. I have a new wire connector for the aux. fan switch waiting for me to install. I also have to get the wires for the fans hooked back up as the previous owner grounded them.
I will be putting in a new switch for the gauge hoping to solve the problem. I am going to try and get some rtv around the wire where I can see the insulation has worn off and then get wire loom on it too.
I replaced the temp sending unit and my readout still says low coolent temp any Ideas?
I have the same problem in my 88,I just replaced the sensor and its fine now. I also flushed my coolent and burpped it when it was cooler,no more low temp...
