Where did you get that plenum, or did you fab it yourself? Also, doesn't the HSR require swapping out distributors to the small type with external coil?
Yes you do need a small cap distributor with an external coil, the distributor costs @ $100 for a stocker, less from a junkyard, MSD8366=$200 or so, and the external coil is @ $40-$50
The plenum was made by Grumpy, it was modified in height as to not interfer with the manifold height... in measurements theres about 1" clearance between plenum and hood underside...
You know,,, you can run your fuel lines into the front and move the hard
metal cross-over line to the rear!?
It all fits like that
When a Holley throttle body is used with an unmodified plenum, space
gets a little tight where the linkage and the driver's fuel rail converge.
.
LD85 & vinnies87, is it like this with your modified plenums? If so, do
different fittings and/or modifications to shorten the front end of the
fuel rail improve matters?
I havent used any type of Ram setup yet but i'm really interested in the Miniram from TPIS. Its expensive but looks totally awesome. There was another thread where a member made one from sheet metal and it looked good.

I will take some pics when I get it back together Saturday afternoon, I just put the pistons into the block
BUT, it works with my BBK and the Holley hard fuel lines,,, pics to follow
