Uh oh..
Well hate to say it but my poor car has to go under the knife. 94 corvette with 166k miles on it.. and today it just developed a knock.. sounds pretty deep and steady i figure main bearings..
This is a good thing in a way but just the wrong time as work has been real slow. My corvette is going to have to sit for along time which is sad but when i get it back it should be a much nicer piece. Think i am going to go with a 383 rebuild.. and looking for 390-400 to the wheels.
Anyone point me in the right direction and a rough estimate? so i know how much to start saving.

was thinkin about buying a shortblock or rebuilding mine with a kit.. taking it in to a local machine shop having them assemble yadda..
for the top end im looking at the LE2 package.. been doin a little searching and looks like i can reach my goal that way.
