I have a 92 corvette that somebody attempted to steal while parked on the street. They pried the key cylinder apart in the steering column.. I reassembled it, but the security light is still lit on the dash and will not let me start the car. Granted the cylinder still sticks a little, and I'll try reassembling it again. Is there something else I need to do to reset the security function? It is the factory stock system for what it's worth. Any assistance would be much appreciated!
when you put the new cylinder in did it have the 2 wires for the vats? and did you plug them in ? i always wondered how a thief has the ***** to sit in a car thats not his and try to"ticker it " thats thief talk
