I'm installing my superram and ran into a strange problem. The pleunum is not drilled on the driver's side for the channel that rises up through the runner from the base. Was wondering what your pleunums looked like....and advice too. Thanks.
Ok so I'm answering my own question. LOL
Pulled the old TPI base manifold out of storage and traced this. The old pleunum channels the IAC valve air into this runner downtube. It then combines with the cold start injector spray and distributes to each intake via a small hole. The superram setup just opens the IAC valve air directly into the pleunum. No need to drill this hole out.
The ports are for EGR, nothing to do with the IAC. I did not drill anything as I deleted EGR. It seems odd that you or anyone else should have to drill out anything. I don't recall any info on drilling in the supplied instructions. I would contact Accel for some reliable info, I'm just not reliable.
