actually, i solved that issue. now, the other side that was working is acting up. the motor runs for about 10sec after it opens and closes.

You will get a lot more help when people don't have to go searching for the year vette you are seeking help with. The fact that the year is in your profile doesn't necessarily mean that is the year vette you are seeking help for. Motors that continue to run after they hit the stop are usually due to worn out plastic bushings on each end of the motor shaft.
