Default is this a reasonable quote?

my 87 vert is getting new tpis longtubes..
i ordered the headers (with egr), the y pipe ,the egr tube and the egr tube seal today from tpis..

i WAS going to tackle this job myself.. however after looking it over for a few hours i decided its perhaps beyond my skills.

i called a local vette only shop which comes highly recommended by the vette club im a member of (LVCA) and was quoted 80$ per hour... for a total of 640$

to me that sounds reasonable..
the car is a west coast car with little to no rust.

the mechanic also told me there will be extra charges if welding is needed.

is this about right?

I think he's well covered by allowing 8 hrs for the job.
