I copied the bin from my 86 Hypertech chip. If anyone wants to see what changes are made in exchange for you hard earned dollars, I'll send you a copy.

Didn't work. Can you explain the differences please!
It's a binary file, you need to save it and open with Tunerpro so you can compare or see the values. You also need the XDF file to translate it.
Here is the XDF http://members.shaw.ca/agent86/32_4%2b3.xdf
I only took a quick look, but all I saw was a little change to the timing table and lowered fan temps.
The '85 hypertec chip I have does only three things differently than the factory chip: 1. Fan on at 170° (this was the "Thermomaster" chip if I remember correctly, Something like that anyhow), 2. TCC lockup speeds (mph) delayed a bit, and 3. WOT threshold TPS positions (the table is "TPS threshold vs. RPM to enable WOT") moved up so that it goes into WOT a bit earlier.
Thats it - no changes to anything else at all. Very nearly worthless - certainly nothing there to make it actually Run any differently... I think they must have been afraid to mess with the timing or fuel stuff at all
There are a bunch of changes on my 86 Hypertech chip, not experienced enough to know what significance they have on performance.
