Default Injector Recommendations

I'm in the middle of a Super Ram install. Alvin at pcmforless is burning a chip and I've asked for his recommendation but I thought I'd ask you guys what FMS injectors I should use. 86 Vette with stock cubes, Super Ram, headers, exhaust, TPIS Big Mouth, TPIS 700-135 cam (224/224, .495/.495), TPIS heads (AFR 190, 54cc, 272 @ .500). My stock injector set had a couple of leakers so I'm presently running FMS 22# (pink tops). I still have the stock injectors.

Thanks

I recently had the same question about injectors for the new engine I was building. I emailed Bryan at PCMFORLESS and he recommended which ones to buy for my specific combination.

Bryan burned my new PCM programming so I took his advice and recommendation and bought the injectors he recommended.

Since he was the one who was re-programming my PCM , taking his advice was a no-brainer.

Alvin did reply and recommended the 24# blue tops. I just thought I'd get enough injector in while I had the intake off. Anyone interested in a low mileage set of pink tops?

Yes, and they work better when painted black.

Your setup will be very similar to mine. My injector duty cycle doesn't come close to maxing out, that's why I questioned the need to buy another set of injectors.

I'll take $200 shipped for the 22# injectors. I'll check Thursday for the mileage on them, but I believe it's around 5,000. (I know... should go to the for sale section.)

If your going to #24, you should get a AFR to regulate the fuel... but Pink tops work fine with my HSR/1.6RR/Headers/magaflow exhaust system, etc, etc.
