'87 power door locks
I have an intermittent problem where the door locks go dead. Neither side works, everything else does. Last time it did this several months ago, I waited till the weekend to take a look. Then it started working again. This morning it quit again. Is there a relay, common ground, or other connector somewhere that I should be looking for? None of my books seem to say a lot about the door locks aside from the fuse location and how to change a switch or actuator.

Do you have a FSM with wiring schematics?? You are going to need them. An easy test is to pull your lock switches and swap them with your window switches. Process of elimination-switches, lock actuators, power and ground connections. Time to break out the book.

Power to the door locks is controlled by a circuit breaker. Could be loose or faulty. Then there are the other 12 possible problem areas.
