Default Inner window door seals??

I have a 1989 coupe. I am tryiing to replace the inner window door seals. The old door seals have been stapled to the plastic part of the door panel. How do you remove those staple with out braking the door panel and how do you attach the new seals to the door panel.

The new ones can with no instructions.

Thanks

I bent the staples back and pulled them straight out. I was planning on re-using them, but I found that I might get a loose fit or damage the plastic, so I used small all aluminum rivets. Did the job just fine.

Outer ones clip to the door. Inners staple to the plastic panel, which usually breaks. Drilling and riveting sounds like the best idea to me for brittle plastic. You should even back it up with some thin metal to keep from breaking the plastic more.

I just bent them back and pulled them out, then I used small drill bit and screws with locking nuts to hold it in place, Its straight and durable, and I did not mess up the panel.
