By installing a Fuel pressure regulator can I get some hp gains?

You will need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. If you fine tune the fuel pressure, you will gain some hp (10 or less), as long as the rest of the fuel and igniton system is up to snuff.

I doubt.

Year of the car?

The right fuel pressure on a stock engine is the fuel pressure generated by the stock regualtor.
If you have some mods, requiring different fuel levels, turning the FPR in the right position can help finding the right tune needed by your modded engine.

There might be a small gain depending on where the A/F is. Dyno or track testing would be needed.

On a stock car where the ecu compensates according to the o2 sensor NO, there will be no gains. On anything modified if there is a need for extra fuel then upping the fp will help. But adding a fuel pressure regulator is like like adding a nozzle to a garden hose and trying to get more flow when all it does is regulate it.

The o2 on these years is ignored at WOT. You can tune with an AFPR. The FPR goes to its full setting at WOT. Even a stock car can be tuned better but probably not much as the stock tune is pretty good. Going custom for each type of mod can bring gains.

The BLM (long term fuel trim) is still honored even at WOT.

The mixture is no longer changing dynamically as a result of O2 feedback at WOT, but the mixture is indeed influenced by the BLM which is in-turn influenced by the O2 sensor.

The 02 sensor therefore does have an effect on WOT fueling. The mixture is still compensated by the historic blm data for the cells in question (typically cell 15).

If the car's A/F ratio is "on" you'll see nothing in terms of HP, if it's "off" you might catch a couple. When I say a couple I mean A COUPLE.
