Who Used Masking Tape On It?
Bought this car ('89 'vette) used many moons ago. I recently been under the dash pannel behind the fuse box and I've found this relay (14078971) wrapped in tape. I didn't do it! What the heck is this relay for?

most likely that is factory tape, and they taped it to a nearby wire harness to keep it from flopping around. You might want to get the complete P/N off of it and do a google or post it here. Someone can probably cross reference the P/N to what the heck it does....
