Default need info on rack and pinions

my 89 vert has been developing a strange vibration at any rate we had it up on the lift and it appears the rack is shot the shaft is very loose in the housing.. not the inner tie rod the actuall shaft from the rack.. sooooo its time for a new one .. i am being told from the parts houses there are two racks...my question is which rack is which ?? i have the FH rack in mine.. is that standard or sport ?? whats the code for the other one ?? is there another way to tell... and whats the diff between the two ?? are they interchangable ??

any and all help would be appreciated

FH is the regular rack;3.5 turns? lock to lock.
The Z51 option rack (NS ? ) is something like 2.75.
Interchange no problem

If the price is the same and to want to smarten up your steering ,get the Z51 rack.

actually the NS rack is 75 bucks cheaper !! which is why i was sceptical that it was the sport rack... figured the sport rack would be more not less
