One Horn Not Working
I have an 88 Vette that I am having a problem getting one horn to work. The passenger side works fine. The drivers side either faintly works or does not work at all. I have tried moving the working horn to the drivers side and it does not work. I have checked the connections and ground, they seem OK. Any ideas?

Sounds like a ground issue. Does the not woking side horn work on the side that has the working horn? I know you tried it one way but you may have the combination of bad wiring (I still think its a ground issue) and a marginal horn.

Rust in horn
I had to take mine apart (passenger side) and it was all rusted inside. So i cleaned it up as best i could (wire brush with drill), used gasket sealer and new bolts when putting it back together. Adjusted the bolt on the ouside for the contact inside (for the coil to oscillate and make the horn sound) and it worked fine after that.
