Check engine light
Just bought the vehicle.While cleaning out the throttle body, I noticed that the mass air flow sensor(MAF) was cracked in a couple of places. MAF sensor was replaced. Vehicle idle has improved.
The Tech from the auto store stated that was unusual for the check engine light not to come on. He told me to check the information panel.
When I turned the igniton switch half way, the check engine light did not illuminated. Is it possible the previous owner did something to it and if so can it be fixed. Any advise will be appreciated.
