I have a soft top from Knock. My Daughters 1990 vert. We plan to install it ourselves. We have the rear and all other needed seals. We have the glue gun and the dvd. Anyone have any pointers that would help?
I've never done it myself but lots of folks on this forum say it is crazy hard to do correctly. You might want to do a search on some of the experiences others have had.
If it was me, it would be one of the very few jobs I farm out.
I did it....I watched the grainy video that has been copied and forwarded off throughout the Corvette world. If I remember correctly it took me about 12 hours to remove everything including the glue....and probably about just as long to get it back together...not including the drying time of the contact adhesive.
The best advice I can give you is to be sure to clean off all of the glue prior to re assembly

I did mine about a month ago and I'm still happy with the results.
I did it myself but another set of hands would have been great. I took my time and it didn't take me as long as chucks88. I would say it took a couple of hours to remove the old top. A couple of hours removing glue, and a full 8 hr day installing the new top.
I have some instructions that another forum member gave me plus the top came with some instructions. If you want me to send you the instructions that the forum member gave me, PM me. I believe they are notes someone took from the video which you already have.
Biggest tip I can give you is to cover everything that you don't want to get glue on.
Well me and my 17 year old daughter did it, she actually did it herself. It is her car so she had to follow the video and basically direct, I just did what I was told, and kept everything clean of course. (very important) We actually had less problems than they did on the video. Just do not get too far ahead on the gluing. Also it came out great!

I saw this on TV not too long ago and they said make sure you do it on a warm sunny day and let the new rag sit in the sun for a while and then put it on.

Did the same for my carpets and seat covers as well.
