The check engine light may be due to rich condition caused by a misfire, which is very mild ona sequential injection of a stock engine.
Anyway, get it scanned. Get the codes and post 'em back here
Above your right knee under the dash is the ADL computer connector.
Counting top row left to right #1 is upper left, upper right is #8, the counting continues on the second row from left #9 to right #16.
All you have to is jumper ( a simple rebent paper clip is the tool of choice) #4 & #12 which are directly one over the other. Then turn on the ignition but do not start the car.
The speedometer display will spit out all the codes, module by module starting with module 1, then 4, 9, and A, ending with a 1.0 when done.
Write down what you see for each module and post it to us.
We have the service manuals that describe the problem in detail for each code and recommended troubleshooting.
BTW, all Vette owners should buy the service manuals for their vehicle available at the Helm website...the pair for the 95 are $120 + shipping and well worth the price.
Good luck

Can you explain this a bit further for some education?? I have a code
H44, lean left 02, but get no check engine light either. I started checking to investigate a very occassional ping.
Not trying to hijack just curious between the correlation of no check engine light pointing to O2 sensor.
Thanks.

If it's not OBD2 they can't scan it. Last I heard AZ has very limited capability for OBD1 and especially not for the 94 & 95 vetts.

Learn how to use the on board diagnoistics. It's a feature that works great. It will tell you the codes in all the modules. Some code readers and scanners will only tell you information about the PCM (mod #4).It sure sounds like the O2s might be giving a problem. Its a direct input on gas mileage. If the SES light is flashing, there is probably a code in there.
