I didnt even know it had that feature :) Ive just started using it and it seems great. I imagine the problem with the dyno feature is going to be traction.... Nonetheless datamaster seems to blow diacom away...

I never had much luck with it, but that was probably due to tirespin. If you can keep your tires from spinning and enter the rest of the information accurately it is a fairly simply physics relationship to determine a hp curve - and should work reasonably well

I use it. It is useful. I do runs in 4th gear and use it to comare graphs to see where I gained or lost. The actual numbers may not be accurate but it is consistant.

I do a lot of recording when @ the track & have compared the times in the Quarter mile time calculator to the times slips of the trakc. for the most part it is pretty darn accurate but more importantly conistant. if you wanted to use it to check gain or loss of performance it works well. Heck even if you wanted to know 1/4 mile times it works OK. when it is off it is OFF (3 or 4 second off), the rest of the time it is w/in a couple of hundredths.

that being said I am sure that you could take a guess as to how much HP you have. I cant make it work worth a darn (too many variables), but the MPH to wieght calculation is close.
