84 no start

84 no start

i have 84 crossfire when the battery is conected the digital dash lights up it will not start the only codes i can retrieve is 12 no 55 //// the car died on me had towed home battery was dead charged batt an this is where im at any help greatly appreciated

"no 55 ////" What does that mean? Does it crank? To start and run, you need air, fuel (in the right quantity), spark (at the right time), and compression. What is missing?

yes it cranks has fire but no fuel relay comes on my dash lights stay on after key removed

Besides, "no 55 ////", what does, "no fuel relay comes on" mean? Is fuel squirting from the injectors as you crank the engine? The dash lights sound like a problem but I don't think they have anything to do with your "no start" problem. Before you go much further, you are going to need a FSM (Factory Service Manual.
