Default onboard video from Sunday's autocross

Finally got to use my new Hardbar camera mount at the North Hills autocross in Pittsburgh last Sunday.

Keep in mind I'm on all season street tires and not my Hoosiers

setup man, way to run the car hard.

In the second run you look like you have narcolepsy and are nodding off.
to think I let you drive my car...

Btw, Happy Bday man.

Nice.

You'd see more with one of those screw on wide-angle lens attachments (I have yet to see a camcorder with a really wide lens).

Very cool videos! That looks like a blast!

What types of locations do clubs usually use for auto cross events?

Where ever we can
Serious, lots are getting harder to find.
Especially ones w/o light poles and islands.

When the club gets lucky they run at an abandoned air strip, or the parking lot of a track, or even the track itself.

Here's a video taken by my club recently at Devens ( formerly Ft Devens )

Here's my car being driven by another forum member at Bose.
Notice the light poles and the islands.

We stopped using it after two cars wrecked.

Devens it great, I've done a 200ft slide there, no chance of hitting anything!

Brian, thanks for posting the runs. Not to make excuses ( OK maybe a little) I was on 2 year old 710s not Hoosiers and Terry was on brand new 710s. Are you going to make it this week end, were running at Falconey field? The event you really need to make is the one at the end of the month down in Cumberland, but you will need to sign up soon It's going to fill up fast. The Saturday night dinner at the Doctors place is worth the price. Go to http://www.nationalroadrally.com/

Do you have to have the top off to use your helmet?
Can't you slouch down so you can keep the top on so it will be stiffer?
