If you eliminate the pump, you need an eliminator bracket with pulley. It will brace the top part of alt, lower alt bracket is still used. Factory belt length and routing, stay the same.
There are aftermarket eliminator brackets available or you can build one.
Here's a pic of my home built one.
I have seen posts that discuss the pump removal. I have searched the site and archives and have not found an answer to the following.
Don't know how your searching, but just did one for "air pump eliminator" and came up with 400 posts, all info there.
The search function to use is on the main menu bar beside "My Recent Topics", Click Advanced search, put in search topic, at the bottom, Click box "Archive", select forum (general or Tech) and you will find all..

There is a guy (Dennis) who is building very nice delete brackets. Look up korvette4u, and you will find the link for his brackets. I just got one yesterday...excellent craftsmanship. They come in natural finish, or polished, both with a SS pulley and spacers. I have a photo of one in "my photos" secton, but can't figure out how to get it on here. At any rate, his site has photos and he will answer any questions you may have.

I am going to remove my air pump and replace it with the eliminator too. I also want to remove the control valve and all the associated hoses. Basically, I'll remove everything up until the check valves at the exhaust manifolds and the one going to the cat.
Since I will be unplugging two ECM connectors (and leaving the connectors unplugged), will this set of a code and check engine light?
If so, what is the solution to that?
