Be Cool radiator install
I am installing a be cool radiator in my 96, manual...
So far I have cut the rubber mounts, and trimmed the plastic in the lower mounts a bit, but they need more..
I looks like i need some kind of spacer to be able to screw the fan housing back togehter?
Have you made your own spacer?
Pictures are VERY welcome!

I put a Be Cool in my 89. Went in like stock with no alterations. Looks factory.
I saw no real advantage over the stock radiator as far as sitting in traffic other than takes a little longer to heat up. I put a manual switch so I can turn on both fans. Also replaced the silly little aux. fan with a 14" tornado push/pull. That worked.
Post the results when you get set up!

Have you considered installing an electric water pump for cooler temps, and since you already have the rad out?

No..When stock rad went leaking, so i got a used Be cool. I hope the BE Cool alone, will result in lower coolant temps on track.

I was able to bolt mine in but others have used a 1/2" spacer on the bottom if I remember correctly.

1 problem I do NOT have with my LT4 is cooling.
I have 9000 track miles, and my car runs cool with the STOCK radiator, and 160 thermostat.
I don't see why you are going through all that trouble, unless your stock rad blew out or something. Especially without simply doing a Tstat first.
Even if it gets up to 210-220, so what.

I am not worried with my track temps at all, but hope to see it cooler after the be cool rad.
