I've got the hotcam, headers and 4.09s. I still get 27mpg hwy. 23mpg mixed driving.
I only went with the dana 4.09s cause I got em (new) from a forum member that decided to go a different route so he sold me these very reasonable
That being said, they do make a bit more noise even though the pattern was fine. Its the nature of the 4.09s vs the 4.10s. The 4.10s are the better gear set but I cant complain for what I have in em.
I thought my fidanza flywheel was horrible. My flywheel is silent compared to my gears, but im taking it in tomorow. any chance they will come out quiet?
I found some gears on the ebay for like 165 bucks from a place called rons machining. He specializes in differentials. Anybody heard of or had good luck with this place?
I bought my Dana OEM 4.10's from a forum member that worked in the parts department of a GM dealership, they were in a GM labeled box. Unfortunately for others, he no longer sells the gears.
You should be able to pick up a set of the Viper gears at a Dodge dealership or somewhere online.
