Default LS1/LS6 conversion cost?

How much would it cost out the door to get all the parts needed? I would do all the work myself.

I don't think you really want to tackle this conversion. Especially in a late model C4.

I have to agree. The later cars will be difficult to convert due to the electronics in the car. That doesn't mean it can't be done. It just means that it will be no where near as easy as an L98.

Now if you still want to tackle the project, I have motor mount adapters and long tube headers for you. The adapter plates were designed for the L98 but should work on the LT1 also. The headers I know will work on the LT1. The info on the parts is on my website.

Forgot to answer your question though. The cost will depend greatly on the parts you use obviously. You have many ways to go about getting the parts though. Do you want a used engine or a crate engine. Do you want ported LS6 heads, stock heads, new, or used? You can save a tremendous amount of money doing this, or you can write a check to a shop and hope it's not too bad. I won't put a price on it because of these variable. All I can do is show you what I have and what that costs.

Found a nice kit that makes the install plug and go. The only real wiring would be the gauges and that isnt very much.
