Die-formed aluminum body is larger than stock, may require modifications to stock valve covers for clearance. Cannot be used with late Chevy 90? V-6 and small-block V-8 "Center Bolt" valve covers. Will not fit 90? V-6 or small-block V-8 self-aligning 88-99 heads.
This is what the Crane site says and im sure that there is way arround this. Can someone please tell me how to make these work. I have some Trick Flow heads on the way part # 30300007
those heads are centerbolt style heads so if that information is correct no. It may be possible though, it depends where the interference is, it may be that they are too thick and will extend to where the valve cover bolts would be. If that's the case you're out of luck, if not you may be able to get away with em by grinding some material off the valve covers where the bolts go through..
If they are the "Energizer" rockers, I made them work with stock covers and aftermarket. I needed to shave the bolt towers, trim off the drip tabs and squeeze the the PCV baffles. Other than that, they fit fine.
Yah I re-read my post and realized i didnt ask that ? properly. Im sorry. Yah so all im wondering is will they work under my valve covers, im sure they will work just fine on the trick flow heads . ON ME

I know there is a narrow body rocker available made just for centerbolt valve covers. I didn't know regular width rockers could be made work at all, but if Agent86 did it then I'm sure it's possible. Then, you need either self aligning rockers or guideplates on the heads and hardened pushrods. I recommend hardened pushrods either way. I didn't look up the part number on your head but make sure they accept centerbolt valve covers or you may need new valve covers anyway.
I bought summit self aligning narrow body 1.6 full roller rockers and installed them a few months ago. Didn't know the drip tabs in the stock valve covers needed removed. Reassembled, fired it up, and it hammered like he11. The drip tabs broke off the valve covers and stuck in the rocker slots between the nut and the top of the slot. It bent all of my pushrods, some of them severely, bent about 1/2 of my rocker studs, and cracked my valve covers. I removed the remains of the drip tabs, cleaned the metal filings out of the heads with Q-tips, used a 2' level for a straightedge and a long socket and bar to bend the studs back straight, installed new pushrods and valve covers (without drip tabs!), and she fired up and ran perfectly. These 'ol 350's sure are durable!!!
That's why I suggested he call Trick flow if he doesn't have the heads yet.
Guessing is bull****.
if you want to use the guideplates that come with the heads then you need to change to harderned pushrods and non -self aligning rockers whatever type rocker you decide on.

yeah always a good place for whats compatable with a particular part, I was just going by the part #, the description says they come with guide plates installed. The description he posted of the rockers suggests they are NSA rockers. The valve cover question isn't really that out of line for the forum since someone most likely has gone through this before, it just wasn't too clear in the origional post.
