Default 3 wire o2 connector

I am adding a 3 wire o2 sensor to my 87 I have the o2 it's Bosch part # 13077 it is the replacement fotr the GM part #. I can't find the connector for it I went to the junk yard and came home with a 4 wire plug that was all I could find. I don't want to put the 4 wire plug in if I don't have to so changing the o2 will be easier. I found 2 connectors the accel 74813 and the MSD 8172 can anybody tell me if these will work or does anybody know what cars besides the 91 ZR1 that these connectors can be taken off of?????

You can get the connectors at Pep Boys with or without the pigtail. The other option is to get one from Jim's Performance. That's where I got mine. Here's the link:

I installed a heated O2 in my 86. It is a 3 wire (2 white wires, 1 black wire. I ended up splicing a connector for the O2 to the ECM, grounding the black wire, and finding a key on voltage source for the other white wire.

no problem with splicing if I can find the plug the female connector the o2 plugs into. I just don't want to use the crimp type butt or spade connectors. I found all the wiring info on the site so hook up is no problem either.

I'm about to add a 3 wire o2 sensor to mine and I was just contemplating where to run the hot. Where have you guys tapped in? I know that obviously the battery is not an option else it'd be drawing all the time. I won't even lie, I haven't taken the time to research this one... I'm sure it's probably a quick answer.

If you have deleted any of the pollution gear (EGR /AIR ) then the wires (pink / black ???) that supply them are hot in run; they were switched to earth back at the ECM.
Good reuse of redundant wiring

That worked? The black wire is for the ECM and with the white wires, you ground one and hook the other to a wire that is hot in run.

There is no polarity on the heater, so long as 12V runs through it to ground it will work

So which is it guy's?
White to hot and the other to ground and the black to ecm or black to ground and white to hot and ecm?
Mine doesn't seem to want to go closed/open loop and have a permanent ses light and I'm wondering if I've hooked it up wrongly.
Opinions please.

Black is the signal wire to the ECM (hooks up to the original 1-wire connector). White wires connect to ground and +12v ignition switched.

How did you arrrive at the Bosch 13077 part #?? Looks like that's for a 92-96 LT1.

I saw a thread last year about heated 02 sensors and somebody said they used a Bosch #13190 which is for a MoPar minivan with the 3.3 V6

I got the 12v + at the fuel pump relay and ran the ground to the frame under the battery with the factory grounds.

The 13077 was found by crossing a gm part # I found searching through posts. Will the 13077 cause me problems?

You should really do a search on this, I think you can buy a O2 sensor for a Buick station wagon that is cheaper and works as well as the one for a Corvette.

Well I just got mine fixed.Runs good and the permanent ses light is gone. When I got under there I found the four wire pigtail(only three used)connected to a red,a green and a white. The white was to a switched hot and the red and green I traced up to next to the fan relay where they were connected to the frame with a self tapping screw! The single pigtail that connects to the ecm was just dangling there.Makes you wonder who has worked on these cars before.
