Default Well Here Goes Nuthin

I got the S/C all Plumbed in and the A/F set pretty well 13.5 @ 25-2800 will try to take her out for a short cruise today At idle just blipping the throttle can't seem to get the blowoff to work..Maybe not enough back pressure yet...We'll see..She idles great and No pings or rattles..Should make around 8lbs of boost..Got the gauges hooked up yesterday so I should be able to tell today waz-up..Pretty happy with the entire install..Got to take my Subie in for service this morning then it's play time ..Been cold here so the roads aren't the greatest..Just going around the block was awesome though..Love that whine...Keep y'all posted

You Bet..Going to go talk to Bob at Automechcania down the road from me...Seeing how it's carbed I want to make sure that they are familiar with OLD SKOOL...I know he did'nt have the software for me when it was TPI sooooo we'll see

Its nice to see some more powerdyne set-ups popping up.

Which blower pulley? I assume the 2.93". Be careful not to overspin the blower.

6000 rpm with the stock crank pulley (approx. 7") and a 2.93" blower pulley is 43,720 rpm at the impeller which is above the recommended absolute maximum.

The rebuilders only recommend 36,000 rpm with occasional bursts up to 40,000 for reasonable bearing life.

Currently I'm only pullied to spin about 36,000 rpm at 6000 rpm, similar the the LT1 6 lb. kit.
