This is a great post, thanks for sharing!

I think I have a different problem now. Driver's side window stopped working and never goes down. Motor is working ok, but the window is always in top position. It seems lost connection between the motor gear and the regulator rod? Any idea what is wrong with it before I take it apart... Thanks!

Same thing happened to me. Motor made all the right noises, but no action. It's the window regulator. I highly recommend having the FSM or Factory Service Manual before attemping this. You'll need to scribe the locations of all the bolts on the window bumpers and guides, as well as the bolts on the regulator, to ensure a good fit and function when you're done replacing the regulator. Take a lot of photo's as well, believe me, I needed to refer to them, while reassembling the door. Not an easy job, but doable with patience.

Thanks for your advices! I thought it won't be easy... I have the FSM and I am going to disassemble the door soon and probably I will need an other regulator, will see. Thanks again.

I'm late to this thread...but for those looking to do this project on their window stops (I did mine last year) this is a great price for adjustable pin wrench. Worked great in removing the old window stop guides and installing the new stop guides.

I'm not sure if I've come across this one before but here is another write up.

Sorry for bothering you, I'm new to the site. I know this an old post but when I was replacing the window guide on my 94 the cylinder/washer insert that was in the window guide nut (back of the window) wouldn't fit? I just put a soft plastic washer on the assembly and the window worked perfect (no more banging the A frame). Just wondering if this missing piece will cause me problems down the road? Thanks
