Transgo Shift Kit
Has anyone tried this? I would like a harder shifting transmission but I have a low budget, I've heard $130 from Summit. Any install these
themselves they say it easy. Thanks for the feedback.

I have one I bought for my 82 700R4 transmission that I am not going to use. $100 plus shipping and it is yours.
I have one in my 86 700R4 and it shifts firm. Installation is not that hard, just follow the instructions. Sometimes the install works perfect, sometimes it does not, alot depends on the shape of the tranny it is installed into. My 86 had problems, but it turns out the tranny had some internal problems anyway.
I initially lost 4th gear after installing the kit. Working with the govenor got 4th back, but that is not described in the transgo kit.

Go to the local trans parts supplier. You can buy the Transgo shift kits for the 700 for less than $20 for the SK-700Jr, and about $40 for the complete hi-po kit.
Screw Summit and $100. Thats plain crazy!
