Default Started the mock up....

The big block fits pretty good. I wanted to set it in to mark the cross member for the notch and I have to admit that it will look pretty good when it's done.

I even had time to put my cool hot rod shifter in

Just a .30 over rebuild w/ speed pro pistions and GM internals. Mild port and match on the oval port heads and intake. Comp cams Xtreme energy 268H cam. I have C3 headers that i will persuade in and run duals back. The dyno Sim put it at 450HP/505TQ.
It is going into a prepped 700R4 and the stock D36 (fingers crossed)

I will try to take it to the strip just to see what it runs in the summer. It should be an interesting driver for the weekends.

That is exactly what I was going for....
Everyone knows that i could have done a 383 and it would have had similar performance, I just wanted something different.

Definately a cool project, it will be an awesome sight to see a BBC sitting in there when you lift the hood.

Yup, I haven't figured out which scoop yet. I am leaning towards the C2 BB scoop as it was open front and back I just have to see how it looks on the car. If not so good I will just put a 3" cowl on it.

How many BB C4s have you seen? Got any pics for reference? I have some ideas but I am always interested to see other accessory mounting options.

I could use some help on the paint scheme.

Has anyone got pics of a C4 with old "SS" stripes on it? I guess I can hijack my own thread here

Pretty cool.

Curious however, Why not a big stroker SBC? There are guys running 434's, and soon to be a "450" stroker in the spring. At least that way you know it will fit.

What cubic inches is this? That is a neat project man' Goodluck!

If this guy fits a RAT in there, which one of you will install a LS9 in a C4?

Anyone with the cash and thinking about it.
