Reason: spelling
Did you investigate what was causing the interference on the stock covers ??
I have the worlds biggest, fattest roller rockers and made them fit into my factory covers(L98). (Trimmed drip tabs, trimmed sides of bolt towers, squished baffles.)
Tall valve covers may also give you grief with the wiper motor cover.
What ever covers you d3cide to go with have to have a notch for the Alt. Many of the covers out there for LT1's have the notch on the wrong cover. Not a huge deal but if you decide to go with them you will have to reroute the PVC vent and of course do what ever trimming needed for the R/R's.
I had to shim the alt. bracket up until it cleared the valve covers. I also reinforced the front part of the alternator bracket using a strip of metal bolting it to the alt and its bracket. Sorry I didn't do pics.
