What year Corvette?

The 9th injector or cold start injector is located on the driver side between the front set of injectors and the rear set of injectors. A tube coming from the rear of the fuel rail wraps around the rear of the runners and goes to the cold start injector.

The EECS or charcoal canister is located where the drivers side headlight is when the hood is closed.

May not be fuel leak.Vent lines to canister get blocked so fuel vapours are vented from tank giving strong smell.
When you find canister disconnect tank vent line and see if you can blow through to tank
