If they do, it would be a very, very tight squeeze. I pulled the factory C5 seats out of my Z06 (when I had it) and replaced them with Corbeau A4 model seats. The Corbeau A4's were not quite as wide as the C5 seats. I am now putting the Corbeau A4's into my new 86 Coupe. The A4's are a touch wider than the factory C4 seats and fill up the area completely. Also, based on owning a 93, a Z06 and now the 86 Corvettes, I found the C4 seats to give much better support than the C5 seats. That was one of my biggest complaints with my Z06. Only reason I am replacing the C4 seats with the Corbeau's, is the leather is gone on the C4 seats and the Corbeaus are sitting in my garage, collecting dust. Might as well use them.

The frames don't swap easily and that will be your biggest hurdle. The other problem is the reclining handle on the C5 seat is right where the seat belt and ebrake are on the driver's side of the C4. Aside from that the seat will fit in the car. If you are looking for new seats, you could always switch to the later Sport seats found in the early ZR1s or the late C4 seats from 94-96. Those are nice and would look different. they are also a lot easier to put in.

Yes they will and there is a guy on this forum that did it but why would you want to? Ever sit in a C5? The seats in a C4 are so much better its not even close.

Im 6'4", the headrest portion of the c4 seat hits me right at the shoulder level and since it sticks out a bit makes it less than ideal. My brothers c5 is quite comfortable in terms of the seats so I was thinking it might be nice. I had not thought about the late c4 sport seats, but sure think it would be a nice, and easy option. Thanks!

I too am a tall guy, and find the head rest on the early c4 seats a pain in the neck. I have thought about late model sport seats, but they are getting harder to find and when you do, the seller normally wants a pretty penny. C5 seats on the other hand, if they can be made to work, seem more plentiful.

On a similar note, anyone tried to make C6 seats fit in a early C4?
