Please help !
Engine overheated. thermo fan shut down. When i stoped and opened the hood oil was flying everywhere. Cant quite see where its comming from.but its defently coming from the from the front of the motor and hiting the belt and flying off. your help if you can! ta

Let's start with a year. Then get in there and clean things up a bit. Check the oil and then start it up and look for oil leakage. If oil was flying off the belt, it could have come from the A/C compressor? Power steering pump? Water pump drive? Opti drive? We need some clues, starting with a year.

See post #2. First check the dip stick, and make sure it has enough oil to start and run. Engine oil leaks in the front of an '86 can be from the intake manifold front seal with the block, the crank seal at the damper, and rarely, if the damper ring has separated from the rest of the damper, slid backward and worn through the timing cover, among others. You will just have to clean it up, start it up and look for the leak. Those are some suggestions of places to look.
