Help with SECURITY Code
This code is driving my buddy bannans. It comes and goes. When its on, the car won't start, When it's off (security code) the car starts fine. Can anyone help identifying the problem. He has lost all confidence in his car, and afraid to drive it, in fear it may not start.

If he cleans the key and it still doesn't work he can buy a bypass that goes into the harness in the steering column and won't have anymore problems. I beleave its called a Vats bypass and they sell them at either Ekler's or Corvette Central..WW
