I tried to make do with street tires for several years, and just couldn't get good 60' times. Once I went with the MT ET Streets, I started getting consistent times in the low 1.7's and occasionally in the high 1.6's. Never wheelspin.

First off I have run all the tire recomended in this thread and they all are great under certain condition but in this case after reading your profile not matter what tire you but on it even a full slick you will have problems getting that power to the ground. 6 sp car are very hard to launch and get a good 60 foot time. You must be a very good driver and still if you get all that to work with in a few runs that Dana 44 will break under the stress.
Sounds like you have a lot of motor I wish you luck.
