I hit a pot hole pretty hard. Now when I get above 90mph I get a vibration. Has anyone heard of the LTPWS tire sensor moving on the rim and causing an out-of-balance?
1. A wheel may have lost a weight and now be out of balance.
2. A dented wheel may be out of balance.
3. The sensor may have broken or moved, but it's very unlikely.
4. Above 90 mph, it may be St. Peter knocking on your door!
I don't think so ... I had a band brake and the sensor flopped around inside the tire ... now that made a terrable vibration. Actually the sensors are counter balanced with a steel plate 180 degres from the sensor. So I would say you probably did something else.
