Compromise.
I never aim to build the best, fastest stuff. Usually I am factoring in fuel milage, idle quality, vacuum, power and torque.
My motors never set records, or raise the standards, but they usually run better than most. I use 112 lobe centerlines in all my stuff. Stuck in my ways I guess.

Your so modest. This motor with a miniram on it, and that cam, and the AFR's will kick ***!!! What internals, and compression ratio are you thinking?

Budget rotating assembly and it should yield approx 10.3 to 1 compression. With the price of fuel, I am staying under 11 to 1 on my builds, preferably under 10.5 to 1.
In my eyes, the 1 point compression gain simply is not risk the power increase.
I would hope the combo would run close to 11.50 @118
I will take what it gives though.
The race wheels and tires I bought from SeeeYaaa will hopefully make my current package consistant 11.80 @116.
My 9.5 inch converter that is sitting on the shelf may yield a tenth or 2 also.
On paper the 406 may even work better than I expect, but I do not ever get my hopes up.

Sounds great. We are going to both have some stout motors this year. If the AFR's live up to the hype, you might even hit 120 mph.
