OK, I cheated
When I did the heads there were people who swore by the copper coat spray. Then there were the people who said it was a complete waste with today's new headgaskets.
I will admit, here and now, that I cheated. Since I didn't pull the block, I sprayed my Felpro 1010s with copper coat on one side, the block side.
It isn't going to hurt anything I just did it for insurance becuase there may have been some little imperfection in the block that can cause a problem.. The heads are new and I had them cut, so I didn't.
I'll let you know how it goes....
