laugh here ( )
For those of you who have done this before this ones for you !...Well i'm finally to the point were its time to start putting that damn radiator shroud back in (if I can)..And remembering where all those damn nuts bolts screws etc. go! This head & cam change has put me through misery :mad ...I think now that i'm about 6 hours away from completion, that I would have been much better off either pulling the engine out or bitting the bullit and just paying somebody to do the work :smash:

Re: laugh here (JB'S LT4)
JB, The good news is that no one will know more about your LT4 than you :) You will be able to enjoy your vette with "no fear" about what might happen next under the hood. regards, jim

I know the feeling well, though not that far into it.
It's not even the money, it's the feeling when you fire her up. You've ventured into new territory, and survived.

Just remember they put all those extra parts in there just in case ;)
I dunno about you guys but everytime I work on my car I can usually find some hole somewhere that is either missing a screw or needs tightening up or I see something else I can tweak... never ending process...
I went the route of paying someone else to do my work... I tell ya what the separation anxiety kills you!!!!
I'm lost for what to do with my time... I have no engine to stare at for hours or projects to contemplate....
If only I hadn't been moving I would have done the work myself, I should have just towed the car twice and done the swap myself... oh well I'll drive it a year then sell it for a real project car ;P ya know the kind that comes with a sign saying "needs a little tlc" or "I'll put the rest of the pieces in the trunk with it" or "has minor rust.... holes..."
or I could get one of those "lamborghini body kit's for a fiero" and let it sit around as a fiberglass reminder that you spent $6k on $40 worth of fiberglass so you could make a wanna-be $300k car ;)
