It's a great swap, one I have thought about doing but decided to keep the V8 for packagine reasons.
I still stand that that motor is tougher then any LT1 any day of the week and twice on tuesday, (in stock form) modding from there is just a few welds and some tuning and fuel mods away. but the cylinder head never has to come off to hit the mid 700rwhp range.
ponder on that and then start researching what it takes to make a 350lt1 hit that power mark.. suddenly the 2500 for a 2jz starts looking real damn inexpensive.

Plus, no matter how much power the 2jz makes it still will sound like a tractor
