Type 2 metric ps pump question...
I was looking at the book and it seems that this pump will work rotating in either direction. It looks like a basic impeller and outlet with a pressure regulator.
Does anyone know this for a fact?
I think that my problem is the reservior was not mounted high enough to feed the pump since I change the orientation of the feed/inlet to mount it up. I thought that it would self prime but was incorrect.
Any insight is appreciated

No GM line mechs on?
I raised the reservior with no luck so they must have a specific rotation. Does anyone know of a standard rotation vehicle with the metric pump or what applications GM part #6175 is for.
I think that is the one that the custom guys use and that should be the correct rotation. If I can figure out the application I can get one from autozone tomorrow and take this pig for a ride

Looks like this is a rather obscure question.
FYI - the pumps ARE directional
I threw a pulley on a drill and ran it opposite and blasted PS fluid all over my engine (and me)
Now I just have to find the correct rotation (clockwise) and I will be good.
I am still open to help to identify a clockwise application so I can go get one today so any help is appreciated
