They appear to be shut down.
Super ram, 219 cam, good after market heads, full RR's, headers, and tune will get you to 400 CHP on stock bottom end at reasonable RPM. Set the heads up to take the lift and RPMs.
400 hp out of an L98 is a tall order w/o extensive engine mods; I've been there and took my car to that level and beyond from stock...I would recommend aftermarket aluminum heads that flow much better...you can throw money in your existing heads, but with today's technology, heads have come a long way.....don't know the specs on your cam, but I would also go with a miniram or if you can modiify an LT1 intake, that would fine too........the stock long runner, intake stuff has to go to get close to 400hp, no matter what you do to the lower end....good luck....

actually there was an article in Corvette Enthusiast March 08 issue that was a pretty good read. They did a L98 build using a TPI system just to show that it would support over 400hp, think they ended up with something like 420hp @ 5000rpm and 490lb-ft of torque @4000rpm using oe plenum and intake ported of course and after market runners. anyway, it was a good read, you should check it out if your wanting to stay with a tpi style system, be it oem or first injection. good luck with your build

You could buy Brodix IK 180 heads, have them shaved to a 58cc combustion chamber, and sell your 113 heads for $300 - $400. That would give you a net cost in your heads of @ $800.

The stock heads in their stock form are good to about 350HP.
The chamber on those Trick Flows are 56CC; no milling required. As for the Vortecs... exhaust manifolds/headers will work fine. The Intake manifolds will not interchance, they must be for Vortec heads. Vortecs have 64CC chambers and will require milling to 58CC, unless you are changing pistons too. You should do some research in the "Search" section...a lot of info there.
Those are bare heads, you can get Brodix COMPLETE heads for $1000 with bigger valves. Go to www.brodix.com
Better re-read the ad...Those heads are complete, with stainless valves, springs, and everything. You don't have to have them milled either. Just for the record... big valves; without the proper port, can actually hurt flow and velocity. Especially on the Intake side; not as critical on the EXhaust.

I don't know what ad you are looking at but if you look at the link in my post, those are bare heads. If valves and intake / exhaust flow is properly matched bigger valves will produce more power. Have you already been drinking green beer?
