I have to first thank you guys for helping me track down the problem about a code 33 on my 85. I was able to track the problem to the mas module.
HOLY RATS NEST!!! literally, I filled an entire bag with mouse dropping and all the stuff they used to build their nest. Thank God they didn't use any of the car in their building. Unfortunately the mas module is corroded. Went right through the metal box around it and onto part of the circuit board as well.
Now I'm trying to track down a new or used one, but am having absolutely no luck, can anyone help?
Sorry can't help, but how in the hell did rodents get inside. Were the doors unlocked.
You can have the thing closed and locked up tighter than Fort Knox and the little devils will still figure a way in and it doesn't matter where you live either. If your car sits for a long period of time like those of us that live in the snow belt, it's a fact of life.
The car was stored in Northern NY in my stepdads garage. He used moth *****, but I'm assuming he wasn't to diligent - - the car was stored for about 2 years.
I agree, I'm finally pulling mine out of storage (3+ years!! ) and I'm finding all kinds of evidence of various inhabitants. Mostly it's just spiders and stuff under the hood, but I found an old wasp nest underneath too! I think it's time to evict 'em....

Good luck with it, I hope you don't encounter the same problems I did...you may want to pull your dash off just to be sure. Only takes about an hour to remove it and put it back.
