1988 there is a sensor in the head between 1-3 spark plugs, looks like the connection is a green wire with white tracer, looks somewhat like a knock sensor, but I know it isnt that, any ideas.
Sensor looks intacked , but the sensor connection to the Green white tracer wire is broken, do they have connection replacements for these.

Thanx again folks
JMO but hard wiring to come on with the ignition is not a great idea. Your engine won't warm up as quickly as it should and it will draw more on your electrical system than need be. At least put the aux fan sensor back to work based on coolant temp. You can get a sensor to go between 1 and 3 plugs for @ $15. They are available for several on/off temps. My main fan comes on at 226* controlled by the ECM. My aux fan come on at 200* and off at 185* controlled by the sensor. This arrangement is working well and I never have high temp issues.
