Crazy C-4 cooling problem
I am usually over on the C1-C2 forum. Thought you would get a kick out of this and maybe save someone some money and time.
My 95 driver was having a cooling problem and I had been fighting it for days...cussing it and saying my 61,72, etc do not have these problems and at least you can fix them.
I had done all the diagnostics and replaced thermostat. One of my racing buddies 427HotRod suggested to check the underside air spoiler for damage. I had checked the radiator from the side to see if trash, etc was blocking air flow.
When I looked at the underside air inlet, this plastic packaging material was perfectly centered on the radiator with about 18 inches draped over the top so it did not fall down. Being thin and clear I could not see from side.

Yep, a C-4 will put a Hoover to shame! The last thing I pulled from radiator was an escort service leaflet from the strip. What else would you expect in Vegas?

There is nothing crazy about that. That is "business as usual" for a bottom feeding C4. Very often one cannot see all there is to be seen, between the radiator and condenser, by looking through the side. It is best to remove the upper radiator shroud, if not the entire radiator, at least the first time, to become familiar.
Mine is a daily driver. I have developed the habit of scanning the road ahead for road debris and avoiding it if safe. I need to stop at least once a month on my daily commute to remove a plastic store bag. C4s are good at sucking those things in.
