I've got almost 1000 miles on my 9.5" converter from Pete. It's absolutely everything he said it would be and the craftsmanship is pure art! I couldn't recommend it more

Pete:

I knew you built great trannys but I knew nothing about your converters.

Damn, I just paid over $700.00 for the Vigilante. It's a great converter but I would have bought a 9 1/2' lock up converter from you.

I was selling quite a few up to and including last september. I took a new job and decided to focus on it 100%. I have been receiving alot of requests lately, and decided to dive back in. There seems to be a decent demand for a quality piece, at a reasonable price.
I enjoy the transmission stuff much more than the day job anyhow

He called me a few weeks ago. He likes Canada, but hates the cold. Crashed his daily driver, and is hoping to buy a c5 to replace his 85.

Suppose spelling Konverters with a "K" would not be politically correct or wise from a marketing standpoint, expect you would lose a whole segment of the market.
But you do have the idea, you need a name as snappy as the product.
One more plug for Pete's converters from an earlier customer, not only is the product excellent, you will not find better customer service from anyone else period.

The vigilante uses a billet back, and that is why it is higher priced.
Although you spent more, you bought more. I cannot knock Vigilante. They make a great piece.
