Do a search; there are several methods. Most involve sticking a rigid stick-like object in through the mirror hole to hold it open. However, nothing worked on mine, so I just removed them since I never used them anyway. Looks much better now IMHO
On my 87 visors I cut a hole in them and I pulled out all of the cardboard material, it was already discinigrated. Then I cut off the extra material and stitched it up. It looks ok but my car is not a show car.
Mine did the same thing. I just cut off the floppy part with scissors and sealed the fabric with model glue.
If you didn't know how they're supposed to look, you couldn't tell anything has been done.

The wings on my 95 sunvisors are floppy. Has anyone figured a fix for these without replacing the visors.
Thanks
I took a little different approach. I sewed a small black button on the side of the visor facing the interior of the car in the lower corner of the floppy section with a square velcro piece on the opposite side of the visor … connected through to the button with black thread. The button is there just as a stabilizer for the thread holding on the velcro piece tight on the upside of the visor.
Then the opposing velcro piece is glued to the plastic fascia above the side window. When the two velcro pieces match and are stuck together, the sunvisor looks nice and smooth across the front and you can't even see the small black button unless you really look for it. No more flopping around. Then if you want to use the sunvisors, you simply pull the velcro pieces apart. Might sound a little odd, but it works.
